Our floating discs are designed and engineered to increase braking torque and front-end maneuverability, resistance to prolonged thermomechanical stress, and heat dissipation generated by braking, especially in extreme conditions. More grip during braking translates to greater responsiveness, reduced weight, and improved handling, resulting in better drivability. Additionally, high heat dissipation ensures consistent braking power in all conditions. Our floating discs consist of: a braking band made from AISI420 steel sheets laser-cut and heat-treated, featuring slotted holes for heat dissipation and pad refreshing.
The Hub, machined from solid Ergal 7075, CNC processed, and anodized. The band and hub are connected by 10 aluminum pins treated with hard anodizing and mounted freely so that, with thermal excursions, the expansion of the materials does not impede the disc's floatation. This reduces the disc's stress and wear.
We pay special attention to each production step, conducting static and dynamic tests on test benches as well as on the track.
