The sprocket, made of high-quality steel, is one of the fundamental components of the motorcycle's transmission system. It is the smallest toothed wheel mounted at the front, usually concealed by a specific casing. Connected to the secondary shaft of the gearbox, the sprocket rotates in contact with the gearbox gears, thus activating the transmission chain that transfers motion to the rear sprocket and allows the motorcycle to progress. Like the rear sprocket, front sprockets also have a variable tooth profile depending on the motorcycle model and brand. This 15-tooth sprocket is slightly larger than the original, allowing for "stretching" of the gear ratio and achieving higher speeds, fewer engine revolutions at cruising speed, and lower fuel consumption.
